Megan Edwards, publicity officer for the CALM volunteering scheme at Leeds Metropolitan University, explains how the project works in the inner North West areas of Leeds which are heavily populated with students, such as Headingley and Hyde Park, and by making efforts to give back to the community, the scheme creates positive relationships between students and residents
