Queen's Award deadline extended
The deadline has been extended until October 5th for people to put forward voluntary groups for this year's nominations for The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, the MBE for volunteer groups

The honour was created by the Queen to mark her Golden Jubilee in 2002 and so far 750 organisations have received the award, ranging from young people's groups to rural community organisations and those supporting minority groups.
