Volunteering England responds to statement on the future of CapacityBuilders

“Volunteering England welcomes Capacitybuilders’ decision to create a distinct Modernising Volunteering programme as part of its revised model for delivering the national ChangeUp agenda. We believe this is the right decision as it acknowledges the key role of volunteering in the Third Sector as well as its equality to other key strategic areas. We would like to thank our members, sector partners and all those who joined our campaign to keep volunteering at the heart of ChangeUp and look forward to working with Capacitybuilders to establish a volunteering infrastructure that is strong, healthy and relevant to the challenges of modern society.”
