The Institute of Fundraising is launching a new online resource for volunteer fundraisers and those who manage them on June 11.

In a recent survey 61% of people who volunteer said that they had been involved as volunteer fundraisers at some stage.

So here’s a few teasers for all of you out there who support volunteers on a regular basis…

  1. Where can you legally advertise your 100 Club?
  2. What is so special about a Dutch Auction?
  3. Do you need a licence to charge 'corkage'?
  4. When are you required to label food with a full list of the ingredients?
  5. Can you have a sponsored abseil off the front to the office building?
  6. What's the best way to raise £5,000.00 or more?

If you struggled with one or two of the answers, don't panic, the Institute of Fundraising is launching a free service to help volunteer fundraisers get the most out of their fundraising and help you keep them happy, engaged and on the right side of the law.

The site will be launched on the 11th of June, visit the institute-of-fundraising.org.uk on the day to find out more, or e-mail donnadl@institute-of-fundraising.org.uk to get your name on the virtual launch e-mail list.
