About EVM

The Pick ‘n’ Mix Pathway to Excellence in Volunteer Management

The Excellence in Volunteer Management Programme (EVM) was developed in response to a national survey of managers of volunteers funded by the Volunteering Hub. The results showed that managers of volunteers:

  1. need and want to take ownership and control of their own development.
  2. want to develop Good Practice within their organisations
  3. want to improve their individual performance
  4. want a quality learning experience
  5. want choice in how they learn
  6. want and need to be able to access learning ‘locally’
