About the organisation
Volunteer Centre Warrington has been at the forefront of responding to the needs of Volunteer Managers, by providing training and support services for over 15 years. One of our key objectives is to encourage the spread of good practice in organisations involving volunteers, advocating their rights to clear and appropriate roles, good preparation, support and recognition. We currently deliver a wide range of services in this field to support Volunteer Managers, including:
Regular training and development opportunities (accredited and non-accredited).
One-to-one coaching and individual support.
Facilitating a local professional managers’ association offering regular networking opportunities, an email discussion group and an annual conference.
What we are offering re EVM
By making the most of the range and quality of resources available through EVM, we are aiming to enhance our existing provision throughout Cheshire and Warrington. We will provide more choice in how Volunteer Managers access learning, offering one-off training days, one-to-one-support, e-learning and the opportunity to complete the full EVM programme with or without accreditation.
