Example of planning training and support for volunteer co-ordinators

English Gymnastics is following an action plan to strengthen its network of Volunteer Co-ordinators. They already provide training packs and a newsletter, but decided to organise a conference in April 2007 to provide a networking and support opportunity for all those in this role.

We thought that this case study about their experience of planning and evaluating the conference could be useful for other organisations looking at increasing support for their staff who work with volunteers.
