A few things we like about this policy:
- The clear references to employees and volunteers throughout the policy. These make it clear that the policy applies to both groups and shows that volunteers are valued for the contribution they make to Mind's work.
- The section on 'Responsibility' is good because it indicates how often the policy will be reviewed, as well as defining how volunteers, employees and service users are responsible for making sure that the policy 'works in practice' on a day to day basis.
