Template translated letters and forms
The Volunteer Centre Sheffield Refugee and Asylum Seeker Project has produced some translated information for use with volunteers. This is aimed at promoting good practice in volunteering with refugees and asylum seekers. It's available in nine different languages from the project's website page.
We think that the range of resources will be particularly interesting to Good Practice Bank users because of their very practical nature. As well as promotional materials and appointment letters, the series of templates covers areas like confidentiality, feedback and data protection.
The English language versions offer a good example for organisations which want to design their own forms in a plain and accessible style. Alternatively, the English and community language versions seem generic enough for many organisations to use them without adaptation.
