Example Induction Checklist
When introducing new volunteers to your organisation, it's a good idea to keep a checklist so that you and the volunteers can keep track of what has been covered and what hasn't.
You can break it down into sections; for example documents which should be given to your new volunteers and things you need to explain or show to your volunteers.
Here is an example from the Ranger Service based at North Lincolnshire Council.

Please note: please bear in mind that this checklist has been created for a specific organisation in a specific context, and should therefore be used as a guide rather than adopted wholesale. For further information, please visit our 'top tips on using the Good Practice Bank'.
