New good practice guides from the Volunteering Hub

The Volunteering Hub has published three new guides in 2006 aimed at supporting the involvement of under-represented groups. We are pleased to have been able to work in partnership with organisations which have particular expertise in this field.

The publications are free to download

• Volunteering for Everyone - A guide for organisations who want to include and recruit volunteers who have a learning disability, written in collaboration with Mencap (PDF version)
• Involving Ex-offenders in Volunteering, written in collaboration with Nacro (PDF version)
• Working with Volunteers: A management guide for refugee community organisations, written in collaboration with the Evelyn Oldfield Unit (PDF version)
