Positive Impact

We are hosting a conference for students interested in medical, health and social care volunteering in conjunction with the University of Leeds. It will be held at the function floor, University House, University of Leeds Campus.

The conference will answer your questions, such as how you can make a difference, how you can learn new skills and enhance your CV and how you can have fun at the same time.

The conference will start with a talk by Sheila Hawkins, Head of Health and Social care volunteering at Volunteering England, followed by a diverse programme of exciting workshops from dynamic sector organisations such as Medsin, Red Cross, Homestart, Mencap and there are more.

You will also have the chance to chat to organisations and sign up for volunteering opportunities over lunch at the networking recruitment fair.

Registration is at 9.30am and the official start to the programme is at 10.00am.

The event is free to attend. If you would like to register contact Kathy at Kathy.yates@volunteeringengland.org to receive a booking form.

The deadline for registrations is Friday 10th October – confirm your place early as places are limited.

Please note: the advertised programme may be subject to change at the organiser’s discretion.
