The end of June 2009 marks the end of the year long project to improve the future of volunteering. We worked hard together to make the recommendations of the Commission on the Future of Volunteering a reality.
In total, hundreds of individuals and organisations have volunteered their time and commitment by being part of the action groups or working along side them. Together we’ve helped to make the future of volunteering a brighter one.
Volunteering England would like to extend a huge thanks to all of you for all your time and energy. Together we have created a legacy which will bring us a step closer to ensuring that volunteering becomes part of the DNA of society.
The biggest thank you, however, comes from the thousands of volunteers throughout England. Below is a selection of the thank you cards made for the members of the action groups by volunteers from Westminster Volunteer Centre.
