The Bill is now being scrutinised by MPs in the House of Commons and Volunteering England is pleased to report that many of our questions about the potential impact of this scheme on volunteers and volunteer-involving organisations and infrastructure bodies have been raised in Parliamentary debates by Government Ministers and MPs from the Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrats parties.

Fair Rules for Strong Communities - VE responds
Volunteering England has responded to the Government's Fair Rules for Strong Communities report and welcomed its emphasis on valuing and recognising the way that people contribute to their communities. Our response also outlines a number of recommendations for how Government can further support volunteers through its policies and funding programmes.
Funding Commission - Call for Evidence
Volunteering England has responded to the Funding Commission’s ‘Call for Evidence.’ The Commission is charged with creating a ten year strategy for the funding of the third sector and is being chaired by Rachel Lomax, former Deputy Governor of the Bank of England and hosted by NCVO.
