Education

Unilever is working with seven schools in London to improve school performance and to help pupils maximise their potential. Employees volunteer at the schools as reading partners, numeracy partners and coaches.

School leadership and governorship

The Unilever UK corporate affairs team facilitates a network of Unilever employees who are school governors, giving them support and encouragement. To aid netwoking they hold an annual conference which provides inputs from national experts on key issues affecting governors and enable delegates to meet and question ministers and senior civil servants from the Department of Education and Skills

Sustainability

Unilever’s sponsorship of the Mersey Basin Campaign sees employees helping to clean up and Mersey Basin and improving degraded land for community use.

Payroll giving

Unilever employees have been involved in payroll giving for a number of years.
