What can I do?

What kind of employer supported volunteering can I get involved in?

There are many schemes that you could get involved in from helping a child to read, to doing a garden makeover at an old people’s residential home, to helping a charity with their marketing materials, to being a school governor.

Your employer may have particular types of employer supported volunteering that it actively promotes, for example, a programme like Number Partners. Number Partners is a great programme that involves you and your work colleagues going in to a school to run number games and activities to help build pupil’s maths abilities. It’s very popular, and doesn’t take up much of your time either.
