- as well as other sport organisations interested in engaging at regional or local level.
These pages will give you advice and suggestions on how to improve sport volunteering. These will be from a groundwork of strategic partnerships through to operational action. Some of these actions and partnerships you will already be working on. In which case let us know and then move onto those that you aren't.

Locally there are 300 Volunteer Centres and whether you are a CSN, CSP or a local authority sport development team, Volunteer Centres can work with you on your volunteering targets. Where other Volunteer Centres have done this it has usually been on a funded basis, because they are being asked to deliver specific targets with statutory bodies: so do be ready to negotiate! Find your local Volunteer Centre.
You can also receive regular volunteering updates and news by becoming a member of Volunteering England: governing bodies and sport clubs are becoming members and we are actively encouraging CSPs and Local Authority sport teams to do the same. You membership will provide you with regular updates about good practice in volunteer management and volunteering news.
