Thames Valley University

TVU Volunteers will be hosting a Volunteers Fair on each of their campuses along the Thames Valley (Ealing, Brentford, Slough and Reading). Because of the nature of University and the difficulty of reaching students on ALL of the campuses, they will be using the fair to raise awareness and recruit.

They are also running a campaign to raise as many volunteering hours as possible, the theme is Spend your Time wisely! Their Vice Chancellor has been the first to donate some of his time to volunteering by giving some hours over a month to coach and referee rugby games in the area and also to work with the elderly.

They will also be using this period to showcase some of the work done by volunteers and the volunteers themselves will be hosting the event.
