The Students will be getting involved in Virtual Volunteering projects.


Anglia Ruskin University

Holding events over four days including: inviting local community groups to talk to potential volunteers, fair trade stalls and a raffle for three charities.


Portsmouth University Students Union VIP (Volunteering in Portsmouth)

VIP are holding a range of activities throughout the week including: a scrubland clearance at a wildlife reserve throughout the week, visiting a local senior citizens nursing home, beach cleanup and thank you BBQ.


Keen Oxford and Oxford Brookes Universities

Keen is a charity that runs sporting and recreational activities for children and young adults with special needs and will be organising the following activities:

Day trip to London Aquarium and Imax Cinema, a dancing workshop for young adults with special needs, drama workshop for disabled young people, and Saturday afternoon sports session for people with special needs ranging from ages 5-35


Southampton University

SCA, Sports Volunteering and Art and music volunteers will be joining together for a week of events; Tea dance for the elderly, conservation on concrete (clearing up litter and graffiti), sports activities, music in care homes and creating a mural. Southampton will also be working with Solent University on their timecapsule virtual volunteering event and clothes swap.


Southampton Solent University

The group will be organising a range of activities including the Swap till you drop clothes swap, Concrete Conservation-The Big Clean up, Virtual Time Capsule and Art at Home art event in a local care home.
