In February 2007 V, the charity formed by the Russell Commission, funded a 2 year regional project to develop and create new and exciting volunteer opportunities for students in Yorkshire and the Humber.
The team works with the region’s universities, and aims to develop and strengthen FE volunteering culture. They work to support existing infrastructure, as well as expanding into sectors that do not traditionally engage volunteers. Hundreds of new and exciting volunteering opportunities will be created as a direct result of the regional team’s work.
