You need to be part of the organisation that's the voice of volunteering in all its diversity Volunteering England is the national body for volunteering in England providing a single voice for volunteering. It is a membership organisation, offering a range of benefits to its members.
Volunteering England is:
- Relevant - we develop, disseminate and promote good practice in volunteer management.
- Diverse - we work to engage more people, from a wider variety of groups, in higher quality volunteering activity through increasing the quantity, quality and accessibility of volunteering opportunities.
- Proactive - we influence the policy agenda, reflecting the needs and views of the local, regional and national volunteering sector and act as campaigning force for change.
- Visionary - we lead the strategic development of volunteering in England through the development of a dynamic local and regional infrastructure.

Volunteering includes formal activity undertaken through public, private and voluntary organisations as well as informal community participation.
Membership of Volunteering England gives you:

Local volunteer development agencies also get access to dedicated development support.
Membership is open to organisations and individuals operating in England with an interest in volunteering. There are a range of membership packages for different types and sizes of organisations.
Organisations and individuals operating outside of England (including Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Channel Islands) can become subscribers to Volunteering magazine for £65 per annum.
