Consultation on raising the age of participation

From summer 2013 all young people will be required to participate in education or training until the end of the academic year in which they turn 17, and from summer 2015 onwards until their 18th birthday.

The government consultation sought views on elements of how this would work in practice, including the definition of full-time education, and other ways of working that (when combined with part-time study) could be considered as participating.

Response to 'Building capabilities'

Building capabilities was a discussion paper published by the Big Lottery Fund, laying out its approach to building capabilities within voluntary organisations.
